With 2021 quickly becoming another significant year of growth for TOWER Cold Chain Solutions, and new global market opportunities opening for TOWER’s market-leading range of temperature-controlled containers, the time was right to appoint Spencer Hill as the new Chief Finance Officer to help manage this growth.
Spencer joins TOWER after spending over 20 years working for industry giants such as Vodafone, Burberry and Fat Face, having spent his early years as an auditor at KPMG. Spencer will support Niall Balfour, CEO, in the senior leadership team as it continues to build TOWER globally whilst leading corporate finance.
Commenting on his appointment, Spencer said “I am delighted to join the team at TOWER and to support the strong growth that the business is experiencing. TOWER is providing a high-quality and global cold-chain solution for its customers and I’m proud to be a part of this exciting journey.”
With new global partnerships in Africa and India, TOWER’s containers are ideal for transporting Covid 19 vaccines and ABIs due to a comprehensive temperature and size range. The rapid growth of the brand is underpinned by further investment from financial partners Investec.
Niall Balfour commented “I’m delighted to welcome Spencer to the growing global team at TOWER. Spencer brings considerable CFO and M&A experience straddling a variety of market sectors which will complement our growing team and help us further develop our standing and reputation in the market.”
