Move a frozen drug through Russia & Ukraine with long qualification periods? Tower delivered.
A Clinical Trials Services (CTS) provider needed to move a frozen drug at -15˚C to -25˚C to both Russia and the Ukraine where local customs procedures require the broker to move between local and national government customs offices and then to the Ministry of Health for approval before the product can be released for import.
Documentation needs to be 100% accurate to ensure the process can be completed so the CTS requested a shipper that had a long qualification period and one that was robust enough to protect the product and reduce the risk of wastage during the transportation period.
The KT400F Tower Flexi Fit offered both temperature reliability and security for the product and gave an added advantage as the CTS was able to move larger quantity of products in one shipment to set up local warehousing and delivery to local sites as required.
This solution offered a reduction in transport costs and a reduction in further wastage.
