The biggest European cold chain publication www.aircargonews.net were first to pick up on our news of the fantastic <-60˚C transit and storage results achieved by TOWER’s acclaimed KTM42, modified by our R&D team to make it a deep frozen container.
The double-pallet KTM42D (The D stands for deep-frozen) can maintain <-60˚C for 94 hours in an ambient temperature, and over 227 hours if stored in a conventional <-20˚C warehouse or truck-sized reefer with only a single 250kg dry ice load.
With its unique double-door load system the <-60˚C temperature can be extended indefinitely with dry-ice replenishment in under five minutes without the operative entering the container.
