Solution overview
Tower Cold Chain partnership with CRYOPDP providing cryogenic solutions in Europe.
Cryogenic transport and storage of biological samples
Dry shippers designed to safely transport and store cryopreserved biological samples, ensuring the preservation and protection of their integrity.
The insulated aluminium vessel filled with liquid nitrogen (LN2) effectively maintains a cryogenic temperature within the range of -196°C to -150°C for extended periods.
The absorbent materials ensure a dry phase with no free-flowing liquid for maximum security and efficiency.
Passive solution suitable for national and international shipping by road and air.
Cryoshipper
Will usually hold 500 vials.
Cryoshipper XC (XL Shipper)
Can hold 966 in bulk 2ml vials or 10 blood bags. Generally either option is packaged into cryoboxes or cassettes and stored on racking inside the shipper..
System Specifications
System | Temperature range | External dimensions (mmm) | Tare weight/Full weight |
---|---|---|---|
Cryoshipper | -196ºC to -150ºC | 670 x 440 (HxD) | 11.9 kg / 23.6 kg with LN2 and shipping case |
CryoShipper XC (max, 966 vials/10 blood bags) | -196ºC to -150ºC | 670 x 440 (HXD) | 15kg/ 28.1 kg with LN2 and shipping case |
Evaluation Criteria
- ADR and GDP compliant for transport
- CE medical marked for the shipment of human biological samples
- Decontamination of vessels once every shipment is completed
- Easy to handle the transfer of samples inside the vessels
- Low evaporation rate ensuring higher efficiency and duration
- GPS and temperature data logger
